About Us

Firoo is a combination of 'fire' and the nickname for a kangaroo, 'roo.' Since both chefs have spent some time in Australia and are deeply fascinated by the concept of Australian direct-fire cooking, we decided to open a restaurant in Taiwan offering our own style of direct-fire cuisine.

At Firoo, our kitchen is entirely powered by wood fire, preparing each dish on-site to preserve the pure flavors of the ingredients. We carefully select the finest seasonal ingredients, combining

wood-fired techniques with fermentation craftsmanship, and pairing them with specially selected wines.
